Buyukada & Princes' Islands Tour (Full Day)

Also known as Prens Adaları in Turkish, the Princes’ Islands are a chain of 9 small heavenly islands in the Sea of Marmara in the southeast of Istanbul. The islands are car-free, and only 4 of them are open for public visits. The visitors can reach the islands after a 1.5 hours’ ferry ride. During your visit to the islands, you can walk or ride a bike through the pine roads.

Buyukada, the most known and the biggest one of 9 islands, is known for its 6th-century Hagia Yorgi Church and panoramic views at its highest point. Meanwhile, full of pine forests Dil Burnu National Park, and the Museum of the Princes’ Islands that exhibits the islands’ history, are open for public visits.

Heybeliada, the second-largest island of 9 islands and meaning Saddlebag Island, is a neighbourhood in the Adalar district of Istanbul. The island is known for its large Naval Cadet School, Kamariotissa, the only remaining Byzantine church on the island, and the grave of the second English Ambassador to be sent to Constantinople by Elizabeth I of England, Edward Barton.
