With its natural beauty and historical texture, Cappadocia has all the features that a traveler is looking for. Let's turn your route to Cappadocia. Daily South Cappadocia Tour will give you an unforgettable travel experience.
Tour Highlights:
Red Valley:
Located in the center of Goreme National Park, Red Valley gets its name from the red-coloured tuff rocks and fairy chimneys covering the valley. Also known as Kizilcukur, Red Valley is one of the unique places to watch the sunset and sunrise you can ever witness in your lifetime.
Cavusin (Greek Village):
Cavusin Village is situated in a wide valley between the towns of Goreme and Avanos. The village hosted many Christian Orthodox people until the beginning of the 20th century. The curved cave houses were actively used until the population exchange between Turks and Greeks in 1924.
Underground City:
The underground cities of Cappadocia, Derinkuyu, and Kaymakli; were built by the Phrygians during the eighth and seventh centuries BC. Derinkuyu and Kaymakli are only 2 of the 200 underground cities and the most known ones. The houses were constructed into the region's underground soft volcanic rock by carving.
Pigeon Valley:
Situated between Göreme and Uchisar areas, Pigeon valley gets its name from the thousands of pigeon houses, which are carved. Since ancient times, these pigeon houses have been carved into the soft tuff. The valley is an ideal destination for trekking.
Ortahisar Castle:
Formerly known as Bashisar, Ortahisar, which means Middle Fortress, was built by the Hittites and used for defense purposes for 3000 years. Due to having a full view of the surrounding region, people also used this castle to see their proximity to reach each other.
A mystical journey awaits you. Thanks to the Daily South Cappadocia Tour, a great day is guaranteed!
