Vnukovo International Airport is a dual runway located around 28 kilometers from the center of Moscow. It is one of the four major airports serving Moscow. It is the third busiest airport in Russia. The airport was opened after the Second World War and served as a main military airport. Its construction was approved by the Soviet government in 1937 after the old airport became overloaded. It was opened in 1941 for the service and served its first civilian airliner. It has undergone several expansion projects to serve the increasing passenger traffic and airliners. It was built on the height and hence served as the airport that can serve as an alternative in case of fog.

Terminal A - It is the terminal used for international and domestic airprot.
