In later years, other cities were added both domestically and internationally. In 1933 a service became between Seville and the Canary Islands. During the Spanish civil war, Seville became hub for African troops and one of the main base. In later years runways and gate were added.

The Seville airport terminal has been renovated to accomodate the increasing traffic. It has one main building that has two level; the Ground level and the First level. Ground level is mainly for arrivals. First level has 42 check-in counters and with services.
