Tenerife North Airport, formerly known as Los Rodeos Airport, is one of the first international airport on the Island of Tenerife, Spain. The airport is located in San Cristobal de La Laguna that is around 11 km from Santa Cruz. The airport connects Canary Islands with Iberian Peninsula and Europe.
Between 1935 and 1939 two hangers were built that worked as an airport. It was later upgraded in 1955. The airport has one termainal and still handle 40% of passenegr traffic..
